Korea-Sino Conference on Coding Theory

Conference Overview

The Korea-Sino / Sino-Korea International Conference on Coding Theory and Related Topics is an international academic conference series established to facilitate scholarly exchange and collaborative research between coding theory researchers from Korea and China. Since its inaugural edition in Wuhan, China in 2013, the conference has been held alternately in Korea and China.

By convention, the conference is titled "Korea-Sino" when held in Korea and "Sino-Korea" when held in China.

Background & Purpose

According to the official website of the 6th conference (KIAS, 2019), the primary purpose is to provide a long-term exchange platform where coding researchers from both countries can report, discuss, and cooperate on their latest research.

In particular, through this platform, young researchers from Korea and China can exchange ideas and learn from each other, which is essential for training the next generation of researchers in both countries.
